On this one way trip to the afterlife

How wondrous Lestat's poem. Its like he had to go so young, as he was beyond the material world even while in life. To be so wise. I feel honored to of known him.
It is a shame when young life is taken or when there is no opportunity for a person to achieve what he is capable of if given half a chance. There are questions about Lestat which may never be answered. His short poem shows his feeling for the human condition. The death penalty should be abolished. Conditions in Bolivian prisons are terrible. We have to stop torturing and killing people. Hopefully others will also.
I met Lestat when he was 16. He really spoke his mind. When he wasn't imprisoned I think he lead a life of freedom and adventure. A life that many secretly desire, but never have the nerve to pursue. I wish knew him better. His tale inspires me to abandon fear and convention, to live.
Thank you all for your kind words.
It brings me joy to know that my son was loved, and most of all understood.
He was courageous and adventurous. We can all learn a lesson about life from him.
Lestat is God.
