- I am the mother of Lestat Montevideo,a young American man serving time in a Bolivian prison. I write about the horrors he is facing on a daily basis in this primitive place and the fact that he cannot receive a fair trial in Bolivia. I hope posting about his plight will help keep him alive. I am sorry to say that Lestat has died in Bolivian prison. I continue to post on this blog about his life.
